Boing Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

Boing stores your best score and your sound and haptic preferences on your device so they remain available when you reopen the game. Boing does not transmit this information to Dune Labs or an analytics provider.

Boing does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos. It does not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies for gameplay.

Information you choose to send us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or other information you choose to include. Please send only the information needed for your request.

We use this information to respond to you, troubleshoot reported problems, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use support messages for advertising or add you to a marketing mailing list because you contacted support.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or rent your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Support correspondence is handled through the email and related service providers needed to receive and respond to your message. Providers processing support information on our behalf are required to protect it and use it only to provide those services, subject to applicable law.

We may disclose support information when legally required, or when reasonably necessary to respond to a lawful request or protect the rights and safety of our users and our business. Boing does not send gameplay data to these providers.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Your best score and preferences remain on your device until the app's local data is removed. On iPhone, deleting the app removes its local data. Your device's backup service may retain a copy, and restoring a backup may restore that information. Dune Labs does not keep an online copy of your game progress.

We retain support correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete information you sent us using the contact details below. If some information must be retained by law, we will explain any applicable limitation.

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may also have rights to access or correct your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us.

External websites and Apple services

Opening a website link from Boing uses your browser. Boing does not include your score or game progress in that link. The website and browser may process information about your visit under their own privacy policies and settings.

This policy describes the game and support communications. Visits to the Dune Labs website are also subject to the privacy information provided for that website, including any applicable hosting, cookie, or analytics disclosures.

Apple separately handles App Store and device services, including downloads and device backups, under its Privacy Policy and your device settings.

Children's privacy

Boing does not knowingly collect personal information from children through gameplay. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support message, contact us so we can review the request and remove the information as appropriate under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Boing or our information-handling practices. We will update the date shown above. If a future version introduces data collection, we will update this policy and the App Store disclosures and obtain any required permissions before that collection begins.
